Fifty Five Plus is delighted to promote the 10th Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. Last year we had little forewarning of the dates for this exciting event. However, with a lead time of 4 months there will be time to organise a trip to the Northern Territory and take in this extensive festival.
The Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) includes artist workshops, traditional dance, musical performances, and an art exhibition drawn from over 50 Indigenous Art Centres. This year new events have been added which include a fashion show, gala dinner, panel discussions and a film festival.
DAAF is Australia’s leading national Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander art fair. It showcases the work of over 2000 emerging and established artists and provides a platform that invites all community Art Centres to showcase their incredible art.
VENUE: DAAF is held at The Darwin Convention Centre, Stokes Hill Road, Darwin, NT.
DATES: 5-7th August, 2016
Friday 5th August 10-4pm Saturday 6th August 10-5pm Sunday 7th August 10-4pm.
