Truffle Hunt Ruffles Estate is located on 23 Mount Majura Road, Canberra 2602.  Truffle Hunts run from 14th June to 16th August, 2014 and cost $60 for an adult and $45 for children who must be over 10 years of age. Starting in the warmth of the Truffle Shed there is a talk on the history of the estate and the French black truffles.  Enjoy the distinctive aroma and learn the difference truffles bring to dishes. Follow Snuffle the truffle dog and her handler into the paddock as she locates the scent and then tracks the elusive truffle. Take a turn at smelling, touching and photographing the freshly found truffle.
